The Frederick County Northern Shrike made an extended appearance around
1pm at its originally reported spot, the first hedgerow on the east side of
Shriver Rd. An hour or so earlier, Sean McCandless had a quick sighting of the
bird on the opposite side of the road, but the mockingbirds quickly drove it out
of sight.

On my drive up, I saw a large flock of about 50 American Pipits in Carroll
County, at the intersection of Rt's 31 and 407 south of New Windsor. Also in
Carroll County was a Northern Harrier on Bullfrog Rd north of Baumgardner Rd.

Go Buckeyes!
