Dear All
I took a stroll around the stables/nature centre/maintenance yard area with
two extremely noisy three year old boys late this afternoon and unsurprisingly
saw very few birds for most of the time. I was, however, surprised and
pleased to find two Pine Siskins feeding in some conifers adjacent to the
excercise area for horses which lies off to the left as one walks from the
nature centre car park towards the stables. There were about ten goldfinches
in the same trees but the two siskins moved off separataely after about ten
minutes.
If anyone wants more precise directions do contact me off list.
Cheers
Gary Allport
