It was a beautiful, clear morning to be afield.  Waterfowl were abundant on 
the ponds: 14 Canada Goose, 12 Mallard, 16 Ring-necked Duck, 22 Bufflehead, 
14 Hooded Merganser & 4 Ruddy Duck.  Sparrows also presented well: 2-E. 
Towhee, 2-Am. Tree, 4-Fox, 10-Song, 1-LINCOLN'S, 12-White-throated & 2-
White-crowned.  Juncos were just about everywhere.  Many deer were about  
including 3 nicely antlered bucks, along with a bowhunter in a tree stand at 
the entrance of the woodland trail that leads to the Rt. 108 parking lot.
