Would you support Birders Licenses so we can have equal time. Most to the
habitat where hunting is permitted is supported by hunters fees, not birders
fees.
Hunting season is also much shorter then the birding season. We can bird
year round. There are also plenty of places to bird where the hunters don't
hunt.
Your comment "The hunting seasons are established according to archaic
traditions from the days when almost everybody hunted ..." I don't that is
an accurate statement, but someone from the MD DNR might want to address the
comment - Mark?
