Just a quick report after a little DC birding this morning. Highlights:
c.1,000-1,200 Laughing Gulls on the Anacostia River, mostly opposite the
Anacostia River Park. A cursory scan did not turn up any Franklin's, but
there easily have been one in the mix.
1 "Western" Palm Warbler at Kenilworth Park. A surprise, especially since
the "Western" Palms seem to migrate earlier than the "Yellows".
Otherwise it was the usual suspects.
Good birding,
