There was an American Tree Sparrow at the Patuxent south tract this morning near the wilflife viewing blind. Also nearby were a half dozen Field sparrows. Not much visible on either lake--one hooded merganser and about two dozen ring-necked ducks, and a few Canada Geese.

At Greenbelt Lake, there were a couple of pied-billed grebes, four hooded mergansers, two lesser scaup, and 4-5 dozen ring-necked ducks, as well as mallards and Canada geese.
