Jim Brighton and I have made the trek about six times in the last four 
years. Regarding the Ipswich Sparrow, we have found the biggest 
concentrations to be between maker post 3.5 to 6.0. Of those, the birds are 
generaly between the marsh and the dunes, more or less in the center of the 
island. The walk is certainly worth paying the price for in aches and pain.
