Notes - probably the most interesting bird was the yellow-throated
"Yellow-rump" - type mixed in with some normal "Myrtle"-types in
Anne Arundel County east of Ritchie inside the Beltway.
A major disappointment and loss of some key birds occurred when
Gene Scarpulla showed up at the boat dock on Back River for his
trip to Hart-Miller, only to find no boat and no wake in the water
(boats leave wakes in the water that lasts surprisingly long; there
hadn't been a work boat to the Island that morning, evidently.)
We lost our Snow Buntings from the count, along with the Peregrine
Falcons usually seen from there on the channel marker and whatever else
Gene would have gotten that day.
