    A couple hours at Pickering Creek Audubon Center this morning helped me
get started with a 2007 Talbot County list.  Species seen:
Canada Geese - 1000's
Black Duck
Mallard 
Pintail - 2
Shoveler - 10
Ring-necked Duck - 5
Bufflehead - 4
Turkey Vulture
Bald Eagle
Northern Harrier
Red-tailed Hawk
American Coot - 2
Mourning Dove
Belted Kingfisher
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Flicker
Blue Jay
Carolina Wren
Eastern Bluebird (one pair checking boxes)
Cardinal
Field Sparrow
Savannah Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Swamp Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
--- Also saw a painted turtle, and heard Spring Peepers
 
Along Presquile Road to the west of Pickering Creek:
Lesser Black-backed Gull (in a flock of over 10,000 Ring-billed Gulls)
Cackling Geese (3) - in a flock of over 8000 Canada Geese
Horned Larks (2)
