I had a little birding time and a car at lunch today (Friday, 1/26), so I
swung through Hains Pt.  Highlight was 1 male and 1 possible female REDHEAD
with all the LESSER SCAUP at the tip of Ft. McNair, seen from the tip of
Hains.

Also of note, a visiting birder from Sweden said he saw a RED-THROATED LOON
in the Tidal Basin earlier in the week.  Not surprising since Greg Butcher
et al had one in the same area (Washington Channel, I believe) a week
beforehand.  I looked for it today but did not find it.
