Got a late start (1100) birding the mostly verges of the wooded area surrounding the Gun
Club, with outlooks at the various coves and shorelines; about a 5 mile slog, finishing up
at 1500. Very mild temps, topping out at 48 deg. F. Not too many passerines, with some
notable absences: NO woodpeckers, thrushes, kinglets or Myrtle Warblers. List follows:
