We drove down to West Ocean City yesterday and picked up a few species
on the way. In our neighborhood we had a fair number of birds at the
feeders and at the ponds. Today we drove to Assateague Island to pick
up a new Annual Visitor Pass and while there we drove through the
Bayside Campground area for a nice selection of over-wintering birds
including 2 Gray Catbirds and a Pine Warbler. Did I mention the
Myrtle Warblers? There were thousands of them.

On the way back we stopped at Eagle's Landing GC.third time was a
charm as we found an enormous flock of American Wigeons and a gorgeous
male Eurasian Wigeon there. More tomorrow after we check out the
jetties, inlet, flats, and West OC Pond.

Best,
Norm & Fran
