Friends,
I am interested in buying a spotting scope before I go to Monehegan Island 
in May. I know next to nothing about spotting scopes, and I don't have a lot 
of money - say between $400 and $600.  I think I prefer an angled scope 
rather than a straight scope, and I'd like to be able to attach my Nikon FG 
SLR. I also think I'd rather have a zoom eyepiece than a fixed 
magnification. I wear glasses so I need good eye relief. Does anyone have 
any recommendations for a first time scope purchase?
