A pretty good variety of waterfowl along MD121 at Little Seneca this AM,
even without a scope. I guess the roughly 25 big white blobs way out
on the ice west of the bridge were all Tundra Swans. When I first
arrived about 10:30, I could see no heads or necks, but eventually one
skinny white neck arched up, without showing a head. That's the most
swans I've ever seen there. Didn't see a Red-necked Grebe, but there
was one Horned Grebe west of the bridge.

Only one pair of Ring-necked Ducks, and less than a dozen A. Coots. Did
I just miss them, or are the numbers of both way down from previous years?
