We saw the bird in question at about 11:40 am in the same location as
described earlier in Marcy Stutzman's e-mail.  I'm not sure if the
bird is in ill health or just sitting out the brutal winds of the
morning.  Nonetheless, it doesn't appear to be in any hurry to leave
the shelter of the canal.
