Dark eyed Juncos are starting to sing their little trill.

The morning walk thru the neighborhood yielded 2 Killdeer, a flock of Pipits
and a Barred Owl sitting in a tree. I regularly hear Barred Owls but this
is the first time I saw one perched. After it flew off (guess it got
nervous about 2 people looking at), I continued my walk. After a couple of
minutes, it started calling and a second one responded.

The Phoebe is still in the yard.
