The large catchment lake behind Bowie Town Center held a nice assortment of  
birds this afternoon (2/26).
 
At least 30 Ringed-neck Duck.
5 Hooded Mergansers
Kingfisher
Sparrows- White-throated, Song, Savannah, Junco and 2 Swamp.
Highlight- Winter wren
 
 
Does anybody know if someone maintains the Purple Martin Box on an island  in 
the middle of the lake?
