And the unanimous opinion (from at least 7 people) is that the bird is
indeed a Song Sparrow. Oh, well, I never did claim to have wonderful
sparrow identification skills. :-)

I have posted photos of a sparrow that appeared in my yard today at

Birds" in the menu on the left).
The bird looked too strange (to me) to be a Song Sparrow. It didn't seem
to fit Fox Sparrow either. Would somebody please tell me what species
this is?
