Tuesday there was a flock of at least 200 robins congregating around the
buildings here on Rt. 1 eating up holly berries. It was quite dramatic,
esp. since there is a holly tree right outside my window.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] More Robins
Speaking of robins, about two weeks ago I happened to look out into the
back yard and saw a flock
of about 50 robins come swooping into our holly trees - where they
proceeded to gobble down all of
the remaining berries in just a few minutes. At the time I wasn't sure
if this observation was worth
posting, and then I forgot about it.
The robins have not been back in our yard since then, although yesterday
I saw another gang of
them (or maybe the same gang) hanging out in the trees and shrubs around
the City of Greenbelt
Municipal Building.
