Hi Everyone,

Zach Baer, Jim Brighton, Tom Feild, and I birded the lower Eastern Shore yesterday (3/5/2007). While I don't have time to compile the full list this morning, I wanted to report a RED-NECKED GREBE in Somerset Co. that someone in the area might be interested in chasing. It was in the marshy area of the Rehoboth Branch where it is crossed by Old Rehoboth Road. Also present were a PIED-BILLED GREBE, WILSON'S SNIPE, and two NORTHERN SHOVELERs. I'll send a full report and post a few photos this evening.

Cheers,

Bill
