The owls have been located at site No. 3. This is the one down hill from the other 2 in the pines. A scope is recommended but they can be found with bins. Both owls are there. This not a particularly wonderful view of them, but for a lifer, what the hey.
    There are several people out there. When you get to the parking lot just follow the main trail straight out until you find the first trail off it to the left. This takes you down to an intersection of a trail that follows the edge of the woods down there. The owls are straight ahead down the trail into the woods. If nobody else is there good luck. They are in some pines off to the left rather high up about 30 yds off the trail. They are only a short distance down the trail- no more than 75 yds.
