My field trip around Blackwater NWR went well this morning, with 8
attendees and 58 species. We had 25 Bald Eagles, 10 American White
Pelicans, and at least a half dozen Osprey, about 75 Dunlin, and
both versions of yellowlegs

In attendance, from Dorchester County, were Fran, myself, and Levin
Willey (my apologies if I misspell anyone's name), from the
Philadelphia area, Harry Armistead and Jack & Sue Carroll, and from
Virginia, Ray & Ann Smith.

A good morning of birding despite the, ahem, bracing winds!

Best,
Norm
