It looks like American Pipits are on the move today.

This eve at the 7th Day Adventist Church in S. Fred Co
just N of Burkittsville, i saw for the first time in
my life 3 Water (?) Pipets. Les gave me the clue to
check to see whether my descriptors might fit this
bird and that they did. There were 3 here as well,
among a flock (?) of almost a dozen song sp, several
Juncos and single Robins and Horned Larks. I have to
admit that the white outer tail feathers were anything
but obvious in the grounded birds, however, two took
to wing, displaying the white feathers briefly.

Following the sojurn to the church's gravel lot, i
ventured to Safeway in Middletown several miles away.
Driving away, while waiting at the light on old 40,
what should appear on the sidewalk in front of the
shopping center - you guessed it another Pipet...!!!

Les, i guess they really were on the move today!
