Jason:

I haven't been to KAG recently, so don't know what exactly is
about. No doubt there will be Canada Geese and Mallards in the
aquatic garden pools, and they should be fairly easy to capture on
video. High tide will be some time after 10 a.m. on Tuesday, so the
tidal marsh should be flooded -- maybe very much so with recent rain
and snow melt. With luck, there may be other waterfowl closer to the
narrow opening through which Anacostia River water enters and leaves
the marsh -- there could be Wood Ducks, American Black Ducks or
Hooded Mergansers there. Maybe even Green-winged Teal. Telephoto
lenses and reasonably quite behavior will be needed if any such
waterfowl is not to fly the coop. A good place to set up would be the
end of the observation boardwalk, where there is broad decking.

Other likely subjects (likely to stay relatively still, anyway) would
be Ring-billed Gulls and Red-winged Blackbirds.

Good luck.
