Waterfowl on the Potomac

Sorry for the delayed report. This past Saturday, on a drive along the
Potomac in Washington County, downstream from Shepherdstown, WV, I observed
the following waterfowl.

Pied-billed Grebe 2
Common Goldeneye 15
Bufflehead 13
Common Merganser 3
Hooded Merganser 12
Canada Goose 75

There are also a pair of Raven's in Washington County on a nest, built under
the RR bridge that passes over the C&O Canal as it crosses the Potomac from
MD to Shepherdstown.
