A four hour stint, at times requiring clambering over deadfall and dodging around trashy
clumps in negotiating the verges of this public facility, in hopes of spotting the Pine
Warbler or some other goodie in Loch Raven Reservoir proved to be a real challenge
to one's endurance. The most common sighting proved to be the flocks of Canada
Geese sauntering about the greens and barely tolerating the golfers playing through. The
numerous WT Deer traversing the area with great nonchalance proved to be the second
most sighted critter on the course. Waterfowl & passerines were rather scarce:
