During spring Warbler migration a couple of years ago our Talbot
Bird Club listened intently to "one of those trillers" near the road past
the Izaak Walton League property in Talbot County. We eventually reached a
conclusion that the invisible bird was a Worm-eating Warbler (and it was
late enough in the season for that to be fully reasonable). Most of the
best birding ears of our club had participated as we reached that
conclusion. We continued birding onward down the road a ways, and when we
returned the bird was still trilling. However it had moved a bit, and had
become visible --- Pine Warbler.

I'm sure we can all agree - especially for the trillers - it is
really best to see the bird.
