Heard 2 GRAY CATBIRDS at the Nat'l Zoo this evening
near the bird area.  WOOD DUCKS and an AM. BLACK DUCK
were mixed in with the MALLARDS.  Later I heard a
BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON call overhead.  I don't
believe the nesting colony is back yet, if it was I
didn't notice it.  

The zoo was great in the early evening.  Nice weather,
hardly anyone there but the grounds are open until
8pm.
