I was reading at (http://k2gw.tripod.com/birdstudyday/index.html) about the 
Boy Scout Bird Study Merit Badge and the 1-day event held to help scouts 
earn it.

I've been thinking about how to get Boy (and Girl) Scouts involved in the 
Oxbow Lake Nature Preserve. When I found some information (about an event 
in a neighboring state), I thought it sounded like a great idea.

I was wondering if there were any approved Boy Scouts of America Bird Study 
Merit Badge Counselors on this list. I'd also like to find out if there have been 
any events like this held for scouts in MD.
