I  spoke with the land owner earlier today and he is happy to let folks use 
his property as long as they fax him a letter releasing him from any 
liability. His name is Steve Booth and his fax number is 775-593-1201. I 
figure the best thing to do is to send him a letter and then take a copy of 
the letter in the car so you have it to show him if he's there.

I saw the faded Little Gull Gail mentioned in her posting at around 11:30 
this morning up by Diamond Point.
