There is still room available on the pelagic trip on Saturday, April 7
out of Lewes, DE.

The 2004 trip at this time of year turned up over 90 Razorbills,
including birds in breeding plumage, Common Murres, Fulmars, Sooty
Shearwaters, a probable Manx Shearwater, and Red Phalaropes. This is
also the time of year for large numbers of Northern Gannets.

Our hope is that April is the time of year to find an albatross and/or
Great Skua in our area. Both birds, when reported on the East Coast,
are often found in the company of large numbers of Gannets and gulls.
In April, large schools of Mackerel, Herring, and baitfish are move
north past our coast, and large flocks of Gannets and gulls follow.

The trip is scheduled to run from 6:00 AM to about 6:00 PM, and we
plan on visiting both DE and MD pelagic waters. The cost is $130.
