Hi Everyone,

I forgot to mention in my recent posts that I had a nice flock of NORTHERN
GANNETs just south of the Bay Bridge on Saturday, 3/31. I was able to
observe at least 28 gannets from the Matapeake pier on Kent Island. The
birds were spread out along the Bay, some surprisingly close to each shore
(both Queen Anne's and Anne Arundel). It was interesting to watch
first-hand their unwillingness to pass the bridge.
