Did a quick walk at the Governers Bridge Road park in PG County this morning, on my way to work. Started out slow (wind and cold didn't help), but ended up with not a bad morning:

    _ Palm Warbler (FOY)
    _ Blue-Grey Gnatcatcher (FOY)
    _ Pine Warbler, calling
    _ Brown Thrasher
    _ White-Throated Sparrow (2)
    _ Eastern Towhee (2 heard)
_ Canada Goose (and one possible Cackling Goose)
    _ Osprey
    _ Downy Woodpecker
    _ Pileated Woodpecker (heard)
    _ American Goldfinch
    _ Hermit Thrush
    _ Blue Jay (3-4)
    _ Great Blue Heron

Afterward, I had a black vulture, which I don't see much of in DC, on a lamp post just inside DC limits...
    Good Birding!
