Dear All
Frank Hawkins and I had a couple of hours out this morning along the Potomac
in west DC which yielded a first year Bonaparte's Gull at Georgetown Res and a
few spring migrants at Fletcher's Boatyard - c20 Yellow-rumps, 2-3 Pine
Warblers, 15 juncos, 20 Chippies, four Gnatcatchers, two Swamp Sparrows
and a single Tree Swallow. There was a fly by Osprey on the river. Cold and
greyer than we hoped for, but quite a bit of bird activity, singing etc
nevertheless.
Cheers
