Hello all.

Had some good migrants today at Compass Pointe Golf Course in Pasadena. 
Courting Red-tails, 3 warbler species, 8 sparrow species and 2 Martins 
provided some highlights.

Totals, North Course:

Canada Goose: 2
Mallard: 12
Hooded Merganser: 3  Large water trap
Black Vulture: 1
Turkey Vulture: 6
Bald Eagle: 1 subadult, 2nd year
Red-tailed Hawk: 3  Two of which were courting
Sharp-shinned Hawk: 1  
Herring Gull: 1 flyover
Carolina Wren: 7
Tree Swallow: 12  Over the large pond feasting on a small insect hatch
PURPLE MARTIN: 2 flyovers
Golden-crowned Kinglet: 4  In a Hemlock 
Ruby-crowned Kinglet: 5  Scattered among the conifers
Carolina Chickadee: 7
Tufted Titmouse: 2
BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER: 3  Calling and foraging
Red-bellied Woodpecker: 3
Downy Woodpecker: 4
Northern Flicker: 3
Fish Crow: 2
Blue Jay: 15
Brown Thrasher: 2
American Robin: 35+
Hermit Thrush: 1 
Pine Warbler: 3
Palm Warbler: 1  yellow
Myrtle Warbler: 1  Just one.
Eastern Towhee: 3 
Chipping Sparrow: 4
FIELD SPARROW: 1  In the 'natural area' by hole 7
Song Sparrow: 14
Savannah Sparrow: 2
Swamp Sparrow: 3  All foraging around a wet area at the far north end
