Had a nice day birding Susquehanna State Park to look for early migrants. At
the main parking area, NORTHERN ROUGH WINGED SWALLOWS and TREE
SWALLOWS, hovered over the pond. PINE and PALM WARBLERS traversed the
grassy areas, while at least 6 OSPREY made their presence known. At least
one CASPIAN TERN was flying down the Susquehanna River towards Lapidum.
Closer to home in Cecil county, I had my FOY LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH
singing his little heart out on my property. |
