I saw a Sora around 9 a.m. at Hughes Hollow, in roughly the same location
where sighted later. I just happened to look down while stopping at random to
look around and there it was just below me at the water's edge (on the left
side as you walk out the dike). The bird is in "fresh paint" breeding plumage
- with the yellow bill particularly prominent. I took some pictures, but by
then the Sora had moved into nearby vegetation so the view was obscured.
Glad that others have seen it too. I tried to spread the word right away to
the people I saw on the dike.
