Sorry about this late post. Between my drive home from Frostburg State
University and an evening walk along the C&O Canal at the Cumberland
Terminus,  my fiance Colleen and I saw some of our firsts of the year.
A beautiful evening yielded some pretty good birds by our judgement.

On my way home near Exit 43B on Rt 68:

Broad-winged Hawk 1

Here was what we saw between 7:00PM and dark at the Cumberland Terminus:

Osprey 1
Northern Rough-winged Swallow ~ 5
Chimney Swift 4
Red-breasted Merganser 1 male
