This morning Colleen and I did some birding around Allegany and
Garrett Co. In total we tallied 58 species -- no doubt we missed some.
Nevertheless, it was a BEAUTIFUL day and we were able to see some
firsts of the year again. The highlights included: Pine Warbler,
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Blue-headed Vireo, Fox Sparrow, and an immature
Bald Eagle chasing an Osprey. I am sure others will be reporting some
new migrants today, as the weather has finally turned to Spring.
