Only 2 hrs later the Gr Scaup was GONE, nor did I see any loons, Blue-w
Teal, Ospreys, gulls, or terns. Some may have moved to Piney Run Lake,
where there were no less than 11 C. Loons, in all stages of plumage, one
yodelling nicely, and 9 Casp. Terns. Out of sight at first, the Wh-w
Scoter showed up flying along with some of the terns(!) Here, too, a
Barred Owl called from across the lake. A 1st yr Bald Eagle rounded out
the picture.
