Hi Folks!
 
I just came back from a quick walk outside the Prince George's County Administration Building in Upper Marlboro.  The only highlight was an adult male PAINTED BUNTING that was singing in the hollies in the courtyard on the Courthouse side of the building.  I sang a few times in the courtyard, then flew over to the evergreen hedgerow by the Library, sang a few more times, then flew off east and out of sight and hearing.
 
I did not have binoculars or camera.  Best view was from about 20 feet with the sun behind me when it was about up about 10 feet on a holly.  Blue head, red breast and green back [best seen in flight].  The song is reminiscent of Indigo Bunting, but the cadence is quite different.
