Hi all --

Pretty busy getting ready to go away (again) but managed to take the dogs out
for a walk in Northwest Branch Park, Mont. Co. near our home -- birds seen of interest
included a number of Myrtle Warblers, two Palm Warblers, one Hermit Thrush and
several Gnatcatchers heard as well. Flickers and Red-bellied Woodpeckers
investigating nest holes. Got home to find two male House Wrens squabbling
around a nest box -- nice to hear them singing. About 10 days later than last
year's first arrival.
