I spent part of this afternoon walking around Lilypons in Frederick County. Notable birds were:
Wood Duck  6
Common Merganser  5 females on Bennett Creek just before it joins the Monocacy
DC Cormorant  1 flying around for a few minutes
Great Blue Heron  6, single birds were standing on three of the five nests that I could see
GREEN HERON  1, my first of the year
Coot  3
Killdeer  2
Snipe  3
CASPIAN TERN  1 flew over about 2:30
Purple Martin  4
Tree Swallow  10
Rough-winged Swallow  2
Ruby-crowned Kinglet  1 heard
Myrtle Warbler  1
Louisiana Waterthrush  1
Swamp Sparrow  4, one singing
