Folks

A couple new yardbirds showed up yesterday in our Waldorf property.

First:

Blue-headed Vireo, Chimney Swift, Barn Swallow, Northern Rough-winged Swallow, and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.

Another lovely Common Loon flew over around 7:30 AM.

I did hear one Hairy Woodpecker. Perhaps my stakeout big day birds are nesting which may be why they have been very quiet of late.

Keep you eyes to the skies. Lots of hawks were also passing over and with the high pressure were very high in the sky.
