Wye Island Queen Annes County 4 - 26 birds

  Hi all yesterday afternoon   4 - 26 after work I  headed for nearby  Wye 
Island   in Queen Annes County close  to Queenstown Md  looking for newly  
arrived  migrants . I spent about 1.5 hours  birding  there   I found  some 
as well   some winter birds still around  .

DC Cormorant      4
Great Blue Heron   2
Canada Geese      6        Two birds  on the same  nest
Mallard      4
Black Duck   1        being chummy  with a male mallard
Blue Winged Teal    4 total   three male, one female
Wood Ducks       6
Lesser Scaup     5         Still around
Turkey  Vulture
Black Vulture
Bald  Eagle      1 adult
Osprey        4
American Coot  2     in a freshwater impoundment
Greater Yellowlegs  3
SOLITARY SANDPIPER      1   first of the year
Wilsons Snipe         2        first   QA birds  for the year
Mourning Dove      2
Red Bellied Woodpecker   2
