The constantly shifting skies seemed to keep activity going well into
the morning this a.m. I sat out from around 7:30 to 9:30 and caught
quick glimpses of some interesting passersby:
The stars of the show were 4-8 alt. plumage common loons that flew
low overhead, headed roughly north.
Visitors to the backyard maple and ashes included:
eastern kingbird (1 overhead)
blue-headed vireo (1-2)
yellow-rumped warbler (3-6)
yellow warbler (1)
scarlet tanager (1)
rose-breasted grosbeak (1)
Baltimore oriole (1)
eastern towhee (1)
