Hi Everybody,

Under the auspices of the Kent County Bird Club, Nancy and I will be
leading a low-key beginner-friendly two-hour bird walk, beginning at
8:00 AM, on the grounds of the Heron Point community in Chestertown. The
community has a marsh boardwalk to the shores of the Chester River, good
woodland edge, field, and community garden habitat with good potential
for a variety of birds.

Directions to Heron Point: The Heron Point retirement community is at
the end of East Campus Ave in Chestertown. East Campus Ave is the light
on Washington Ave (MD-213) at the south edge of the Washington College
campus. If headed north, turn right, if headed south, turn left off of
Washington Ave. Follow East Campus Ave to the Heron Point community and
bear right on Sassafras Dr, taking that to the large parking lot at the
end. We will meet participants in this lot.

We hope to see you there,

Walter Ellison & Nancy Martin
