Hi Everyone,
Went on a birdwalk lead by Michel Cavigelli Sunday April 22. There were
about 20 participants for the walk . We basically birded Research Rd. which is
part of the Dept. of Agriculture near Greenbelt Md. . This road is by the way
open for bikers and hikers on the weekend . That being entered on the
Greenbelt side. Thanks to Michel for an enjoyable 4 hours. He certainly made
this a group thing. I was glad to meet many new people . Went to P.V.S.P.
Elkridge afterward and did a little more birding. Piney Run Park on Saturday .
Didnt see White Winged Scooter either.

Went to S.W.A.P monday . Checking out the Delaware ave. eagles . Kept
seeing two heads but wasnt getting the white because of the glare. Then an
adult flew in and eventually sat down like maybe it was the mom and i could
see the white very clearly Even took a picture it was so clear . So am
assuming the other two heads were eaglets. Also were 4 Blackcrowned night
heron and Osprey at Bellgrove rd. Pond monday evening .

Thanks
Saundra Byrd
