A visit to the Middle Patuxent EA in Howard Co this AM did not reveal
all the birds reported earlier by Bonnie Ott, but did come up with these -
White-eyed Vireo
Great Cr Flycatcher (FOY)
House Wren
Br Creeper
N Parula
Black-and-white W
La W'thrush
C Y'throat
Rose-br Grosbeak f (FOY)
Swamp Sparrow 2,
besides the usual suspects.

But most bizarre was a flock of ~20 Pine Siskins - this after a winter
in which almost none were reported and certainly none seen by me.

At Piney Run Park, the 60 or so Tree Swallows over the water included at
least one Cliff Swallow, while a lone Bonaparte's Gull rested on the
surface.
