Greetings:

About 5 pm yesterday, while passing through the dining room I gave my usual
cursory glance at the screech owl box to see if anyone was there, as I hadn't
seen them for over a week. Yes, the red one was sitting in the hole and there
was a tom turkey scraping busily at the base of the pole. Yeterday's full list
includes:

ovenbird
great-crested flycatcher
osprey
red-bellied woodpecker
Carolina chickadee
tufted titmouse
purple martin
northern cardinal
white-throated sparrow
Carolina wren
eastern towhee
wood thrush
screech owl
great horned owl
chuck-will's-widow
wild turkey
laughing gull
grey catbird
mourning dove
American goldfinch
white-breasted nuthatch

Happy birding,
